Once the basics mechanics have been mastered, I like to crank things up a bit by incorporating some MEDICINE BALL exercises to continue to working on the coordination and firing through the hips which translated into getting into the jump.
I incorporate cable & band resistance for both resisted(Great for developing force production in the movement) and assisted(overspeed training is good for developing muscle firing rates) exercises.
